Wolverine has a reputation for being one of the deadliest and most unkillable members of the X-Men, but in one of his famous stand-alone stories, Logan reveals that he has a weakness so simple, literally anyone can beat him.
James “Logan” Howlett aka Wolverine is a mutant with heightened senses, razor-sharp claws, and a healing factor. While his claws are easily his most flashy feature, and regarded by some as the best aspect of his mutation, the real star is his healing factor. Not only does it literally heal practically any wound Wolverine sustains, but his healing factor also elongates his lifespan by quickly recovering his body from any ailment or potentially harmful substance exposed to it.

Someone Logan cared about was murdered by the cult, and he was going to make them pay.
Wolverine felt the negative effects of pepper spray to the same degree as someone who had just been sprayed directly with mace, yet his experience was nothing like that. Logan’s heightened senses picked up on the trace amounts of pepper spray that were in the air from hours before, and in a completely different part of the building than he was in. So, imagine if Wolverine had been sprayed in the face with this stuff directly.
Obviously, pepper spray wouldn’t kill Wolverine as his healing factor would eventually help him recover once the air cleared a bit . However, if it was a matter of simply winning a fight against him, then this method would absolutely work to take Wolverine down–and it’s so simple, anyone with a can of pepper spray can do it.
