The berserker Marvel mutant known as Wolverine is a hero that can fit on any team or in any universe, with a new cosplay bringing him into the world of Star Wars where he’s been re-envisioned as one of the rare and deadly members of the Shadow Trooper faction of stormtroopers!
Shared on Instagram by username @batsturd, this talented artist has been creating new designs for old favorites for quite some time now, with his different takes on tried and true comic book looks helping him to stand out as one of the best in the cosplay space. Posted on “May the Fourth,” @batsturd’s cosplay design immediately makes a case for why Wolverine would fit in without a problem in a galaxy far, far away. Dressed in all-black stormtrooper armor, @batsturd gives this version of Wolverine a dark reinforced helmet made even better by piercing red eyes that undoubtedly strike fear into the hearts of rebels across the universe, to say nothing of his potential capabilities turning invisible with this trooper’s unique battlefield ability.
With Marvel Comics currently publishing all the core Star Wars comics, it’s entirely possible that fans might get a real Shadow Trooper x Wolverine character mash-up in the future, but until then, stay tuned for what else @batsturd gets up to in the cosplay space by checking out his other epic costume designs!
