A Wisconsin high school’s associate principal and district equity coordinator resigned last week after using a racial slur in front of students.
The McFarland District School Board held a meeting last week to accept Nichols’ resignation, thought the incident took place on Sept. 13. “We also want to reiterate that the staff at McFarland High School and the District does not tolerate the use ofor any type of harassment based on race,” the email, which was also obtained by Empower Wisconsin, reads. “Those are words that should not be spoken at MHS by anyone at any time while attending MHS.”
