SUNDAY: Increasing clouds, slight chance for rain late, high 45. Good Monday morning! Main roads will be wet this morning, but untreated pavement will be slick and icy from light snow and flurries. Temps are in the mid-20s, so salt is melting snow on treated pavement. We will continue to see light snow and flurries today, mainly early. It will be mostly cloudy, cold, and breezy with a high around 31 and northwest winds of 10–20+ mph. Mostly cloudy tonight as temps dip to around 20 with lighter winds. Another light round of snow/mix heads in midweek. Mostly cloudy Tuesday as we warm to a high around 36. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5–10 mph during the day, then pick up more in the evening. A weak system brings another round of light snow/mix Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Wednesday starts around 32, then we warm to a high around 45 in the afternoon. Brisk winds on Wednesday as well. More moisture arrives with a system Thursday. We may see another round of rain/snow, but the track and temperatures are still a little uncertain. This system will have more moisture, but we start cold with a morning low around 28, then warm to a high around 41. That’s cold enough for snow early, then warming toward rain during the day. If it arrives early enough, it may be mostly snow. If it slows down, it will be mainly rain. For now, plan on wet or wintry conditions Thursday. It does not look like a major storm, but it could still create some inconvenient travel conditions.More sun heading into the weekend as we warm up. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high around 45.
