Wind-driven wildfire forces evacuations in south Reno

The fire is burning in the same vicinity as the Davis Fire.

A fast-moving brush fire in south Reno prompted evacuation for some nearby residents and shuttered Mt. Rose Highway.Cherrywood Drive

Mt. Rose Highway is currently shut down to all traffic between Wedge Parkway and Douglas Fir Drive in both directions.
