Prince William and Kate Middleton have paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth by releasing a never-before-seen photo of Her Majesty featuring Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on what would have been her 97th birthday.
Taken by Princess Kate at Balmoral Castle in Scotland last summer, Her Majesty is captured posing for a photo with ten of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
“Today would have been Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 97th birthday,” William and Kate captioned the Instagram pic. "I think Granny is the most happy there. I think she really, really loves the Highlands," the 33-year-old reportedly said. The Queen reportedly did extend an olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, inviting the pair and their two young children to Balmoral for her annual summer break.
