Well, the walls at NightBird Studios, the in-house recording studio downstairs at the iconic Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood, kind of do.
Now it is the permanent L.A. home for Spotify's Secret Genius program. Charlie Tadman, who does Songwriter Relations for Spotify explains, why they chose NightBird."NightBird was a natural fit for us right from the beginning.
Leiber: That's a really good question, and not one that I've ever thought about because what has been special for me musically about NightBird is the range. NightBird is color blind, and it's style blind. It's blind to everything except... Is it Duke Ellington, Some people argue with me, they say literally or Duke. So I really subscribed to that. I really believe that if you have ears without cloth in them you can find something good in just about any style of music.
