Who should they draft? Who will coach? 4 questions facing the Fever entering the offseason

The Fever ended the 2022 season on an 18-game losing streak.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Lin Dunn has been with the Fever off and on in some capacity for 18 years. She was an assistant coach from 2004 to '07, then the head coach until 2014. She returned this past offseason, coming out of retirement to serve as interim general manager.

“I want to make sure that I’m thorough,” she said. “I want to make sure that I’ve done all of my research, not just from my perspective. That’s why exit interviews are so important: players, support staff, everyone involved in this program before I make a decision about our future.”The Fever will have a pair of first-round picks in August: their own and Dallas’, which they picked up in last offseason’s Teaira McCowan trade.

There’s no guarantee all the rookies will be back either. All have significant value as trade chips if Dunn wants to hasten the rebuild, she could flip one for more immediate help.
