Auburn's next opponent will be coming off an unusually early bye week.
The Auburn offense committed five turnovers in the 21-14 loss to Cal, with fifth-year quarterback Payton Thorne tossing four interceptions.
After the coming week of practice, Auburn will look to bounce back against the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday night as the Tigers’ Jordan-Hare Stadium is set to play host to an opponent for the third week in a row. So while the Tigers dropped their Week 2 matchup to the Golden Bears, the Lobos were likely at home watching it happen, while also trying to make the most of their opportunity to rest.
