White nationalists raid CPAC but find themselves right at home.
That’s most obvious with Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene, the House Republican from Georgia who proudly took the stage at AFPAC on Friday night, hours before her Saturday speaking appearance at CPAC. On Friday she was introduced by Nick Fuentes, a white nationalist whose own AFPAC address featured giggling praise of Adolph Hitler.
On the CPAC sign side of the meme, the American flag has rainbow and Israeli flags behind it. On AFPAC’s, there exact flag behind it isn’t clear, but it bears more than a passing resemblance to a white Christian flag with a blue square and red cross. All of this is true for the Republican Party writ large. But the first step toward a solution is admitting there’s a problem, and on that front, the early signs aren’t good.
