Finally? 👀 WhatsApp TechNave
ned messaging platform is currently testing the feature out and may well be included in a future update of the app.
The option to share photos in their original quality was first spotted by WABetaInfo. Found on the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.211, there’s a new setting icon within the drawing tool header to choose photo quality. Through this setting, users have more control over the quality option of the photos that they’re sending, including HD and original quality. Currently, there is no option to send photos in their original quality, with WhatsApp compressing the photo shared, thus losing out on some important details.
Of course, do take this information with a grain of salt as the feature is only spotted on the beta version of the app. Hence, there is no confirmation whether the feature would end up in the final version of the app. What do you guys think?
