Rutgers quarterback Gavin Wimsatt, who is off to a solid start to the 2023 season, spoke to the media on Tuesday prior to his team's game against Virginia Tech.
quarterback has thrown for 361 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while completing 54% of his passes. That completion percentage ranks 74th out of the 84 FBS quarterbacks who have attempted at least 50 passes this season, per ProFootballFocus, but it is a significant improvement from the 44.8% rate he completed passes last year, which was among the lowest in college football.
