Western Australian residents in coastal towns north of Perth have been instructed to shelter in their homes as firefighters battle a blaze that has already burned through 72,000 hectares of land. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services warns that it's too late for residents in Cervantes, Cooljarloo, Nambung, Wedge Island, and Grey to evacuate, as the fire is expected to continue burning into the weekend.
