A fatal motorcycle accident involving a pickup truck occurred on US 6 in Juab County, resulting in the death of a West Valley City resident.
A West Valley City man died Sunday afternoon following a motorcycle crash on US 6 in Juab County . The accident occurred approximately two miles east of Eureka around 1:45 p.m. According to a statement from the Utah Highway Patrol, an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle was navigating a sharp turn when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford F-350 pickup truck. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, UHP identified the deceased as Robert Taylor Anderson, 34, of West Valley City. No other injuries were reported in the incident. US 6 was closed for two hours while the Utah Department of Transportation worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation
