The weekly Pub Run is a non-competitive social group run, where you can meet other runners every Thursday for an easy 5K route.
The Thursday night Skinny Rave Pub Run series is a year-round event typically taking off from downtown Anchoragehas become an enduring tradition in Anchorage, bringing together a diverse group of runners who share a passion for movement and community engagement .
“In a selfish way, we just want more people to run,” said J.C., a buyer for Skinny Raven. “And usually, nothing bad happens out of that – people are healthier and happier.” Next Thursday, for example, the run will start at Turnagain Brewing on the south side of town, allowing participants to discover new routes.
