is an American dark-comedy series created by Jenji Kohan. The basic plotline of the show revolves around Nancy Botwin, a mother of two, who starts selling weed to support her family after the unexpected demise of her husband. This time out, we see Nancy take Silas and Shane and flee the scene, due to the latter having murdered Pilar. As the three try to figure out an escape plan, Andy faces a tough decision about leaving town.
Having debuted in 2005, the one-of-a-kind series has gone on to amass a significant fan following, owing to its unique subject matter. The sixth season opens with Shane having murdered Pilar. In order to save him and Silas, Nancy grabs the duo and flees the crime scene. The gang tries to come up with a hideout destination as Silas contemplates a life on the run. Meanwhile, Andy struggles to choose between skipping town and staying in order to win over Audra.
Aside from its intriguing narrative, the satirical series also boasts of a talented crew in front of the camera. Mary-Louise Parker leads the pack as Nancy Botwin, with Justin Kirk, Hunter Parrish, and Alexander Gould also playing pivotal roles. The supporting cast also features Jennifer Jason Leigh, Demián Bichir, Andy Milder, Kevin Nealon, and Enrique Castillo, among others.
