The warning has been put in place for strong and gusty westerly winds on Thursday morning, progressing eastwards as the day moves on. It also warns of particular strong gusts around the northwest of Ireland, which will then move eastwards as well.It has advised that there could be travel disruption and power outages as a result, wit that warning extended right through to Friday.However, the weather forecast details blustery showers on Thursday afternoon which will gradually see southwest winds increasing.That forecast remains much the same for Friday, with strong winds expected to continue.
