EAST LANSING, Mich. -- No. 1 Michigan State made sure to finish the weekend on a high, defeating No. 10 Michigan, 4-1, in front of a packed Munn Ice Arena crowd on Saturday night.
Several Spartans contributed to the scoring, including the team's top skater, junior forward Isaac Howard, who, despite leading the country in goals scored, earned his points from assists on Saturday, finishing with three. He would earn the Third Star of the game.
