Vice President KamalaHarris tells NASA astronauts she's a 'space nerd' during call to space station
Harris, who is a self-proclaimed"space nerd" and head of the National Space Council, chatted briefly with Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines, and Jessica Watkins before the signal was lost.“We have fallen out of range of our tracking and data relay satellite system,” a NASA employee announced as the call was disconnected after just a few moments.
"The Artemis program will establish the first space station in lunar orbit and the first lunar base camp, where astronauts will train for the first mission to Mars," Harris said.
