DOTHAN, Ala. - , with additional information on his arrest expected during a news conference this afternoon.
Court records show Latarius Mylik Dale faces one charge of First-Degree Domestic violence after investigators say he beat the woman badly in her face with a hammer. Other charges could be pending. Legal documents show the victim—who News4 is choosing not to identify at this time—sought a protection order against Dale following Thursday’s attack with the help of a third party because she was unable to do so on her own because of injuries she suffered during the incident.Dale, 30, and the alleged victim have children together, documents reveal.
Records reflect deputies charged Dale with Third-Degree Domestic Violence—a misdemeanor—in 2023, but a judge dropped those charges because the victim refused to cooperate.
