Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) appeared to break Wednesday after she was mercilessly heckled at a town hall.
Ocasio-Cortez was listening to constituents at an event located in the borough of Queens in New York when protesters began to belittle and verbally beat down the outspoken"Squad" member."AOC has got to go," the hecklers chanted. At one point, Ocasio-Cortez danced to the beat of the chants. When she returned, she was greeted with a wave of profanity that brought out Ocasio-Cortez's strong accent.
"All right, all right, listen, all right, listen, listen, OK," she yelled at the crowd with her hands in the air. This is the second time in the same number of weeks that one of Ocasio-Cortez's town halls has been disrupted by protesters upset with the congresswoman's overtly leftist positions and total agreement with House Democrats.
