Rep. David Schweikert told a progressive activist posing as a supporter that he supports impeaching key White House Cabinet officials and stripping apart the FBI. uploaded to Twitter Monday by The Undercurrent, a"grassroots political web-show" presented by activist Lauren Windsor, Schweikert, clutched a baby in his arms and spoke candidly about Republican plans for the House if they regain control of Congress, which could happen after the Nov. 8 midterm elections.
While many House Republicans have remained critical of the FBI since its raid of the Florida resort, Schweikert had remained reserved, telling in late September that “without additional information about what has transpired, it would be inappropriate to speculate about what should be done.” The two other officials on Schweikert’s “list” included the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Schweikert criticized Blinken and accused him of opening “Communist-Socialist governments around the world,” he says in the video.
