Alabama is offering reimbursements for the purchase of a smart thermostat in some situations.
Alabama Power is offering customers up to $200 reimbursement for those who purchase a smart thermostat.
Smart thermostats regulate heating and cooling according to the homeowners schedule and allow customers to remotely control the temperature from anywhere.to qualify for the money, customers must submit proof of purchase on or before Dec. 1. The proof must include the purchase date, the brand and model, and the amount paid. Apartments and mobile homes are not eligible.
The reimbursement amount will be based on the price paid for the thermostat, not to exceed $200, and will be given as a digital gift card sent by email. Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
