Some single-day tickets can cost more than $200, depending on when people visit.
Walt Disney World DIS, -0.56% this week raised prices for most theme-park tickets. The most-expensive single-day ticket can cost as much as $219.
Last fall, the theme park located near Orlando, Fla., introduced a new system that adjusts the price of tickets based on the dates of the park visit. To book a Walt Disney World visit, guests must now select the number of days they plan to go to a theme park, and the dates of their visit to find out the total cost.At the time, Disney said that the new pricing system would actually cause ticket prices to drop for some dates, while for others tickets would become more expensive.
The price per day for Walt Disney World tickets is cheaper when guests choose to buy multi-day theme-park tickets. A 10-day ticket now costs between $47 and $61 per day, or a total cost of between $470 and $610.
