Waiter who bit cop fined RM500

A WAITER was today fined RM3,500 in default of three months in jail by the Magistrate’s Court for biting a policeman while resisting arrest last month. Magistrate Fardiana Haryanti Ahmad Razali handed down the sentence on Suresh Kumar, 33, after he pleaded guilty to using criminal force on Ismail Abu Hassan with the intention of deterring the policeman from discharging his duty.
