SEORANG pelayan restoran yang menggigit lengan seorang anggota polis yang mahu menahannya hujung bulan lepas didenda RM3,500 oleh Mahkamah Majistret Kuala Lumpur hari ini.

Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Nurilya Ellyna Nor Azmal memohon hukuman setimpal sebagai pengajaran kepada tertuduh sementara lelaki itu yang tidak diwakili peguam merayu hukuman ringan dan turut mengakui tahu perbuatannya adalah salah serta melahirkan rasa kesal. Dia didakwa mengikut Seksyen 170 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukkan hukuman maksimum penjara dua tahun atau denda atau kedua-duanya.
