Vice President Sara Z. Duterte has called on the youth to emulate how national hero Dr. Jose Rizal lived his life in the service of the Filipino.
DAVAO CITY – Duterte exhorted the young generation during the commemoration of the 126th Rizal Day here on Friday.
Duterte, concurrent Department of Education Secretary, also urged learners to value patriotism, courage, and integrity which she said were lived out by Rizal. Duterte and President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received high approval and trust ratings in a nationwide survey conducted by the non-government organization RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. this month.
