Which of these seven standout student-athletes was the best from the Huntsville area?
Buckhorn celebrates the victory over Mountain Brook during the AHSAA Class 6A boys championship at BJCC Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala., Saturday, March 2, 2024. Buckhorn won its second straight Class 6A basketball crown. Bob Jones captured its first baseball championship with a thrilling three-game series win over Central-Phenix City this spring. Hartselle was second in Class 6A after an emotional ride to the finals following the death of legendary baseball coach William Booth.
Each of those championships was won thanks to hard work and dedication of entire teams and coaching staffs with stellar performances shining through and from those,will choose a Boys Athlete of the Year on Friday.
