Campaigners say a survey on residential provision will feed into an external review by Manx Care.
Carers and family members of those with learning disabilities have been asked to share their views and experiences of residential services available.
The questionnaire asks about the quality of support as well as communication with and the involvement of family members and carers. The survey also asks respondents about support available in relation to the social lives, employment and daytime activities of those using the facilities, and the safety of the residential homes.
