Well, if you’ve ever wondered who would win in a competition of speed between a car and an airplane , look no further. This Myvi driver recently did and here are the results!On 22nd August, a video of a Myvi racing an AirAsia plane was uploaded to Facebook and needless to say, it went viral very quickly. From the video, the Myvi driver was seen keeping pace with the AirAsia plane taking off from the runway, while they kept to the road outside the airport which ran parallel to the tarmac.
While the car did its best, the planes engines were quickly heard going full blast as it started accelerating for take off. Of course, the poor Myvi, despite going from 80 km/h to 100 km/h, started falling behind and couldn’t catch up. The passenger, who was recording the race, teasingly harassed the driver to go faster. The driver himself could be heard exclaiming: “The plane obviously won, still, the futile race left many entertained with several marveling at the Myvi driver’s guts.
