An F-35 fighter jet crashed Tuesday on a flightline on Eielson Air Force Base, a military official told Alaska News Source.
MOOSE CREEK, Alaska - The crash occurred at about 12:49 p.m., according to Col. Paul Townsend, 354th Fighter Wing Commander.Emergency services were at the scene Tuesday afternoon putting out the fire caused by the crash and the area was cordoned off.
