Festivalgoers at Victoria's Beyond the Valley will have acccess to the state's first trial of a mobile pill testing service.

The four-day music festival is taking place in Barunah Plains and will have pill testing services available from 1pm to 7pm every day.

"We said we would deliver pill testing in Victoria and that's exactly what we've done," Acting Minister for Mental Health Mary-Anne Thomas said. The trial follows the passing of recent laws in Victoria which give dedicated support to pill testing.
