Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Pablo Guanipa has been released after more than eight months in prison. Guanipa announced his release in a video posted on social media on Sunday. Guanipa was detained in May. He was accused of participating in a 'terrorist group' plotting to boycott legislative elections.
