Ridge Alkonis is re-adjusting to life with his family, after about 18 months behind bars. His car crashed back in May 2021 near. Mt. Fuji, when he lost consciousness while driving - killing two people. "The story that when our President sends our service members overseas, they deserve basic due process and human rights, that’s not hard to understand, and it’s very easy to see where Ridge was failed in that regard," Brittany said.
During the 18th months - he says he had limited communication - a total of five 30-minute supervised visits with his family. He was able to send 12 letters a month to friends and family, if they were on an approved list.
