The U.S. is now approaching the peak of strong, violent tornado occurrences.
Although the number of days that there is a tornado in the U.S. is decreasing overall, the average annual number of tornadoes has remained roughly the same, according to the latest research.in the U.S. over a five-day period across states including Iowa, Missouri, Georgia and Mississippi – a continuation of a trend that shows more tornado outbreaks despite fewer tornado days, meaning days during which at least one tornado is reported, experts told ABC News.
