U.S. Central Command said on Thursday night the military is not "holding back" when it comes to sinking "the entire Iran ian navy." In a video posted to X, U.S. Central Command struck a drone carrier which they said is now on fire.
"Iran is hoping that we cannot sustain this, which is a really bad miscalculation for the IRGC in Iran," Hegseth said on Thursday during a joint news conference with U.S. Central Command Commander Admiral Brad Cooper at CENTCOM headquarters in Tampa, Florida. To prepare for the operation, the Pentagon is building up the largest force of American warships and aircraft in the Middle East in decades, including two aircraft carrier strike groups. The Middle East and European bases have also seen numerous additional U.S. fighter jets and support aircraft. More than 100 fighter jets, including F-35s, F-22s, F-15s and F-16s, left bases in the U.S. and Europe and were spotted heading toward the Middle East by the Military Air Tracking Alliance.
