The already overcapacity shelter had some unexpected additions this week after three dogs were surrendered following the death of their owner.
HOLMES COUNTY , Ohio - A Northeast Ohio animal shelter is currently overflowing with dogs after some unexpected intakes, increasing an urgent need for people to adopt or foster the animals.is currently housing 21 dogs at their facility, which has just 14 kennels, and they anticipate taking in more strays this week.
In some cases, the agency says a dog will come fully vetted and Holmes County residents get a spay/neuter voucher.until they are able to find forever homes, you can contact the Dog Warden’s Department at 330-674-6301. The agency covers all medical and food costs for foster pets.
