The arrival of a new character in Upload season 3 represents an obstacle in making a favorite ship happen, but that might actually be good for them.

After the huge cliffhanger left in the finale of Upload season 2, the Amazon Prime Video hit comedy is back with its third season.
Upload season 3 is also continuing the stories of Nora’s friend Aleesha and Nathan’s friend and fellow upload Luke , who are also dealing with some problems of their own. While Aleesha juggles new responsibilities at Horizen after being promoted, Luke struggles with Nathan’s downloading, but he doesn’t know yet that there’s a copy of his best friend in Lakeview.
The chemistry between Aleesha and Luke has been undeniable since their first on-screen appearance together. Aleesha and Luke started with a sort of “frenemies” dynamic as Luke constantly teased Aleesha as she was his angel and Aleesha was never afraid to talk back at him and stand her ground, which brought her problems with Lucy.
While they both know the problems and risks of an upload and an alive person getting together, the chemistry between Aleesha and Luke is undeniable and has turned them into a favorite ship, but with Aleesha now with Karina , she getting together with Luke won’t be happening for now. Should Aleesha & Luke Get Together In Upload? Aleesha and Luke’s bond has gotten stronger since season 2 thanks to them really getting to know each other, and it’s obvious that Luke likes her beyond their angel/upload dynamic. Aleesha and Luke getting together might feel like the next step for them, but the series would be risking not only one of its most interesting and heartwarming friendships but also copying Nathan and Nora.
