Unregistered vendors in QC to get P2,000 aid amid COVID19 crisis. LuzonLockdown

Unregistered vendors in Quezon City are now qualified for a P2,000 cash aid to tide them over the COVID-19 crisis, the city government said Thursday.

“We saw the pressing need to expand the financial aid program after many ambulant and unregistered vendors were discovered during the first wave,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said in a statement. The expanded program will also cover solo parents, persons with disability , and senior citizens affected by the coronavirus-caused enhanced community quarantine.

The city government earlier allotted P200 million for 100,000 QC residents, covering public utility drivers, market vendors and other daily wage earners affected by the lockdown.
