PETALING JAYA: Universiti Malaya (UM) has called for its academics to use e-learning in view of the developing Covid-19 situation.
The university, in an internal e-mail by deputy vice-chancellor Prof Dr Kamila Ghazali to its staff, encouraged the use of e-learning in teaching and learning activities, a request which it said was in line with the latest instructions issued by relevant authorities.
"I am also aware that there are situations in which teaching and learning must be conducted in a physical setting, such as clinical work. For these situations, please ensure that all involved take the necessary Covid-19 precautions," said Kamila.
