In Puerto Princesa, Palawan, residents evacuated to safety with their domestic animals and pets as water rose knee-deep due to rains. “‘Yong ibang rivers natin, ‘yong mga tubig dito partikular sa norte, ‘yong mga tuloy d’yan ‘yong iba ay nag-overflow na pero passable pa rin,” said Richard Ligar, city information officer.Due to the bad weather, trips from ports in Northern Samar, Biliran and Leyte are cancelled.A total of 206 passengers remained waiting at the Caticlan Jetty Port due to the cancellation of Roll-On Roll-Off and ship operations.
