THE provinces of Cagayan and Babuyan Islands have been placed under Signal No. 3 as 'Egay' nears super typhoon category, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday. READ:
Pagasa in a 5 a.m. advisory said Signal No. 3 is up over Babuyan Islands, the northern and eastern portions of mainland Cagayan , the northeastern portion of Isabela , and the northern portion of Apayao in Luzon.Under Signal No.
1 is up over Metro Manila, La Union, Pangasinan, the rest of Benguet, the rest of Nueva Vizcaya, the rest of Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and the northern portion of Masbate including Burias and Ticao Islands.Under Signal No. 1 in the Visayas are Northern Samar, the northern portion of Samar , and the northern portion of Eastern Samar .
