Two men have been taken to hospital, one believed to be in a critical condition
Two women tragically lost their lives at the scene of a crash, according to police. The fatal collision involving two vehicles occurred on the A4050 in Barry on Saturday. In light of the incident, South Wales Police are urging the public to steer clear of the area. A road closure is currently in place from the junction of Port Road East and Barry Dock Link Road heading towards Pugh's Garden Centre. Officials anticipate the closure will stay in effect until Sunday morning.
The authorities have issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone with valuable information to come forward, especially with regards to the driving manner of a grey Audi RS 4 before the collision took place, reports Wales Online . A statement from South Wales Police read: 'We are at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision on the A4050, Barry and the road is currently closed in both directions from the junction of Port Road East and Barry Dock Link Road to Pugh’s Garden Centre.
