Two women, Xiaohong Yang and Mei-Chen Juan, were arrested in San Jose on suspicion of operating a brothel after a month-long investigation by the San Jose Police Department Human Trafficking Task Force.

The suspects are Xiaohong Yang, a 55-year-old resident of Mountain View, and Mei-Chen Juan, a 53-year-old resident of San Jose. They were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail. On Sept. 11, the San Jose Police Department Human Trafficking Task Force had and used a warrant to search a house on the 2700 block of McKee Road that allegedly was used as a brothel.
