One officer suffered facial injuries and a concussion which required hospital treatment
A man has been charged with assaulting police after the incident on August 21 which saw two PSNI officers attacked with one suffering facial injury and a concussion.
A police spokesperson said that after locating the man, he 'set his dog' on the attending officers after "punching at" them.The spokesperson said: "A man has been arrested, charged and taken to court after attacking two police officers."When he was found at the house, he lashed out, punching at police. He also set his dog on the two officers. Both sustained injuries, with one suffering facial injuries and a concussion which required hospital treatment.
