Two pedestrians were killed in separate crashes in Cleveland on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021CLEVELAND, Ohio – A 71-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were killed in two separate vehicle crashes that took place about 10 minutes apart on Thursday night.
The 71-year-old pedestrian was found in the westbound lane of Kinsman Road near East 142nd Street at 10:59 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle, which fled the scene, has not been identified. The matter remains under investigation. The 35-year-old pedestrian was crossing Storer Avenue west of West 56th Street around 11:10 p.m. The woman was hit by an unidentified vehicle, which also fled the scene. She was transported to MetroHealth, where she was pronounced dead. The matter remains under investigation.
