Two Easter egg hunts are scheduled.

) - There’s a chance for children and others to enjoy special events Saturday in Mobile related to Easter and spring.

First, the City of Mobile Parks and Recreation Department and Councilman Cory Penn are sponsoring a Spring Fling celebration at Dotch Community Center, also known as Trinity Gardens Park. Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. and are scheduled to last until 2:00 p.m. at 3100 Bank Avenue in District 1.The hunt will be divided into age groups, so children of all ages can have a chance to participate.

There will be a variety of all-day activities including Easter Bunny photos, face painting, a petting zoo, games, activities, music, and more.Councilman C.J. Small and the District 3 community are holding the Easter Egg Hunt at Gilliard Elementary School at 2757 Dauphin Island Parkway from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
