Both men were reported to be in stable condition and the shootings are not related, authorities said.
OAKLAND — Two men were shot, one multiple times, in different areas of East Oakland Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, authorities said.About 3 a.m. Thursday a 22-year-old Oakland man was shot multiple times in the 1400 block of 19th Avenue in the San Antonio district.
It turned out the wounded man had been driven to a hospital by another person. That person did not remain at the hospital to talk to police.Investigators will be talking to the victim as soon as he is able. The man lives in another part of Oakland and investigators are hoping to find out what he was doing in the area where he was shot, why he was shot and if can give them any suspect information.
