The incident occurred Saturday night around 9:24 p.m. on the 800 block of Probandt Street, where a major accident was reported. According to SAPD, two men were trying to jump-start a vehicle in the northbound lanes of the location when a dark-colored Jeep struck the disabled vehicle and both individuals. The impact allegedly threw the victims into the roadway. The driver of the Jeep did not stop to help and took off from the scene.
