In a statement, Antioch police said they arrived and searched the area but found nothing. A short time later, somebody contacted the police department’s dispatch center to notify them that two men had arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds, police said. They added that a 45-year-old man and a 41-year-old man were the two who showed up at the hospital. Both men subsequently were taken to a trauma center, and they remained there late Sunday. One main remained in critical condition and another man was in stable condition, police said. Police said they continue to investigate what happened and encouraged anyone with information to contact Det.
